Brussels-Metro(STIB)
Brussels is the only city in Belgium to have a subway network. Its six branches cover some 40 kilometres. The power supply to the engines comes from a third rail electrified at 900 volts. Work is carried out constantly to maintain and upgrade the system, and projects to cut new tunnels and automate lines are in progress or under consideration...
Two and a half minutes. Before boarding. Two and a half minutes to wait. An interval latent action Two and a half minutes squeezed in. Two and a half electrical minutes the electrons stream along the live rail of an engine that lives underground. Two and a half epileptic minutes A brain off at a tangent and neurons in panic...
Two and a half minutes of pleasure Whispers, shouts, a sigh. Two and a half minutes to enjoy A slightly frustrating embrace Two and a half creative minutes. Women who give birth sweating 612 wailing newborns Chorus echoing around the earth Two and a half minutes for the disappearance Of 285 souls leaving us Two and a half minutes of memories Images to remember. Two and a half cosmic minutes.
