the-mysterious-steelworks
Night time. A huge blast furnace. Skip-cars. cowpers. Rusted giants made of steel! More than 100m high.
Shall we include this exploration in rooftops section?
Well-preserved place, yet the place closed more than 10 years ago.
Where is it? Belgium? Luxemburg? France? Germany? Seraing, Carsid, Charleroi, La Louvière, Chertal, Duferco, Clabecq, Cockerill-Sambre, Ougrée. Or: Hayange, Uckange, Algrange, Fameck, Florange, Knutange, Neufchef, Nilvange? HF1, HF2, HF3, HF4, HF5, HF6?
Do not bother to ask...
Thanks to Phil, former worker at this factory for giving this forgotten entry into this wonderful location...
I just hope these photos will remind you and your colleagues the good times you had there...

Have we been a little mislead about the continent? It's not Bethlehem is it? And does anyone know if Bethlehem is still intact?

I went here and found it not all so exciting, until I had the idea to click on the GALLERY OF PHOTOS link. Then I really found the photos very interesting. So "Try it before going away" is my advice of the day
